Reflet de Société Lands Several Community Media Awards

Café Graffiti co-directors Raymond Viger and Danielle Simard attended this past weekend’s conference of the Association of Community Written Media of Quebec (AMECQ) with intern Célie Dugand and anglophone journalist Colin McGregor in Victoriaville, home of the first poutine and wooden hockey sticks.

And Reflet de Société came away with several provincial journalism awards.

For the Next Generation Award, Samantha Miller came 2nd for her article titled Intergenerational Trauma: https://www.refletdesociete.com/traumatisme…/

For the Graphic Design Award, our graphic designer Keven Wong came in 2nd place.

For the Reportage Prize, Colin McGregor won 2nd place with his article on collective kitchens https://www.refletdesociete.com/les-cuisines-collectives/

For Community Media of the Year, Reflet de Société came in second, tied with the l’Indice Bohémien de l’Abitibi. The newspaper La Quête de Québec came in first.
