Tax Returns a Source of Stress: Poll

While Quebecers have until May 1 to complete their tax returns, the team at HelloSafe have published the results of a survey conducted during the month of March among 887 Quebecers about our feelings on taxes in general.

  Here are some key findings:

– Only 18.5% of respondents find the tax return easy to fil out in Quebec

– For 47.7% of our respondents, the complexity of the tax declaration is a source of stress

– Still 31.2% of Quebecers say they are not comfortable with the computerization of the tax returns

– 13.9% of our respondents indicate that they are declaring investment income.
